The Teachers:

Dr. Pearson earned her Master’s in Counseling Psychology and holds a Ph.D. in Depth Psychology with a specialization in Psychotherapy from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, CA. Rebecka has been in the mental health and wellness field for over 12 years and holds advanced training in CBT, DBT, EMDR, equine assisted and jungian therapy. Her integrative approach to therapy, coaching and facilitating is grounded in Depth Psychological principles including the belief that we are all interconnected and therefore health and wellbeing comes through a combination of individual and collective processing.

Rochelle is a UMASS Medical School certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher. Her work teaching mindfulness to several hundred folks in healthcare and academia over the past 14 years, both nationally and internationally, has allowed her to witness the impact of cultural conditionings on our lives and mindfulness as a profound and healing antidote to these dynamics. Her work is trauma and culture-sensitive and embodies the transformative power of the present moment for individual and collective healing in the service of meaningful and lasting change.

*Disclaimer: While the intention of this workshop includes a potential overall benefit to mental health and wellbeing, it is not intended to be group or individual therapy.
