It’s been a humbling experience using mindfulness over the past several years as a stabilizing presence in my efforts toward witnessing, understanding, naming, and dismantling structured, gendered violence and I’m honored to be invited to present on the topic at this year’s Peace and Justice Studies Conference. Our presentation is titled Critical Somatic Practices to Support Intersectional Justice. I will be presenting with my professor and Chair, Dr. Joy Meeker (Saybrook University), and co-presenters, Rasheeda Ouedraogo, and Alexander Hall.
